INTRODUCING TANDEMN

We know the struggle. AI research, training LLMs, and running cutting-edge simulations demand enormous computing power. Setting up and managing your own cluster is complicated, while renting cloud GPUs can be painfully expensive and slow.
That’s when Tandemn comes in.

We’ve got the answers

If I join Tandemn, do I allow other people to execute code on my computer?

During the training, participants only exchange tensors (embeddings, gradients) and never send code to each other. No other Host/User can execute arbitrary code on your computer - they can only request you to run one of pre-defined LLM layers. Hosts serialize their tensors using safe protocols, such as protobuf. We never use pickle because it is unsafe.

Is Tandemn safe and secure?

Can I lend other people outside my organization use my distributed compute?

Won't joining consumer-grade GPUs lead to slower performance compared to dedicated server GPUs?

What liability does Tandemn assume if something goes wrong?
